BC, CANADA – Jack Nicklaus designed Nicklaus North to be a top golf destination to include in golf packages to British Columbia, Canada.

“The idea was to build a course that people could enjoy,” Nicklaus said.

From the first hole on, it is clear that’s an understatement.

The conditioning at Nicklaus North reflects the standards set by Jack Nicklaus himself, so much so that he gave the course his name.

Having been voted Best New Canadian Course of 1996 by Golf Digest magazine, and host of two major televised events, the 1997 Canadian Skins Game and the 1998 Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf, gives Nicklaus North a unique signature of quality.

“I agree with what Nicklaus says about the course being enjoyable”, said Bill Coombs of Victoria, BC. But he cautioned, “golfers should be aware housing comes into view on the back nine.”

He went on to say, “that even with this in mind, we always include Nicklaus North in our Whistler golf package”.

Combined with the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club and Big Sky Golf & Country Club, the three courses make for a perfect Whistler golf trip.
